Old Bug, New Tricks?
I have what appears to be an old recurring bug happening. Its my first encounter with it. Can someone give me an updated fix? I tried everything I found in forums, etc, to no avail. It's the old classic where garden weeds won't get pulled and my sim winds up in the infinite "tend garden" loop. I have no mods or CC at all. And I do not own the newest expansions: Growing Together, Horse Ranch, or For Rent... Help? Or is this a hurry up and wait situation and I just have to hope EA gets around to it?

You said you tried everything you found on the forums. Was one of them Verify Integrity of the Game Files? Try that if you haven't. If you didn't do that you haven't tried everything :)

Definitely did that, too. One of the first things i tried. Twice...:steamfacepalm:

A work-a-round seems to grab the plant/flower and place it in your household inventory, then place it again on your lot and yes it’s a know bug: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-SAVES-Weeding-animation-loops-and-weeds-aren-t-removed/td-p/11061955

Unfortunately, that fix didn't fix either. I tried that a few times, as well.
