SOLUTIONS for people having trubble this update.

Alr, so as you may of noticed, sims 4 had an update and some stuff is not working. First of all. You need to know that 1- sims update had problem by its own, so wait for EA to fix them. 2- mods (script) broke with it. To fix them you only need to update them. Main mods causing problems are Wicked Whims, Basemental Drugs, WickedPerversions and MC comand center.

As for Wicked whims and Basemental Drugs, creators aready updated them, so go on and update yours as well. Otherwise game will crash and bugg and wont let you play.

As for the others i mentioned, no updates have been uploaded yet, so play without them or wait until creators update them. (MC command center, Wicked Perversions)

If you have other script mods, try opening the game with them installed and if it glitches, remove those mods and re open the game. If the game runs normally, then its the mod causing problems. Not the update.

So, if you noticed visual buggs or weird behavior in-game and you DONT HAVE ANY MODS. Those fails come directly from EA's update, so there's nothing you can do there, except waiting for a patch for those bugs.

I would appreciate that you told everyone where what script mods are broken if you noticed, so you can help someone else fix their game.

Wait you can mod the steam version?

The Sims has built-in mod support these days, so yeah, you can mod the steam version. Anything in your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder will get loaded. You do have to go into options to allow scripting mods, otherwise only custom content will load.

Extra traits in CAS is also usually broken on updates!

MC Command Center had an update starting on December 5th, 2023. It should not be still broken. Go to the official MC Commander website if you want the latest version earlier as opposed to waiting for the update on CurseForge.
