Even at the start, those first months of release, when we were saying 'this game is empty and broken' and their response was 'if this doesn't sell well, there will never be a Sims 5'. So we bought the stuff hoping Sims 5 would come quickly.
And even though it started out as a Sims problem, Simmers have enabled it for so long by continuing to buy this stuff even though we KNOW it's broken and over priced because it comes with cute dresses or pretty curtains.
The good news is, with so many other life sims in the works for the near future, EA can only improve or fade away. Either is fine with me at this point.
I am totally stealing this quote for something.
I wish I could say I invented it but it's an old idiom that, unfortunately, will probably always be relevant.
