If you use MCCC you can change it, that newly create character are from your library (you should have a ton of Households in there, so you don’t get the same) It should be under population setting -> import tray setting -> set it to 100%. I don’t use at the moment mods, and it’s a while since I used MCCC but should be still on the same place.
I know that since city living this has been a problem, and then island living shook things up a bit and then snowy escape came and took over. Horse Ranch doesnt seem to control the naming pool, but I have appreciated seeing new random townies with more western names.
I dont understand why the naming pool cant be a bit more random, the addition of new names to the pool with expansions is great but the fact they seemingly overwrite the ability for the game to generate random townies with older names is just terrible.
Just asking, it has never been a consideration or problem in my play experience.
This, because I have all DLC my townie generation is bad. If my game generates a townie, I got to 80% an ash/black skinned NPC with Asia name. A fair skinned NPC is always an alien NPC for me, a good looking NPC is mostly too always an alien.
Then I play my game not in Englisch, so my NamePool Is without mods a lot smaller as somebody which play Sims4 in English.
I had not noticed the skin thing, but that is probably true. Now that you mention it aliens always tend to be white and they also do not have asian names. I do alot of University life gameplay so the game is always generating university dorm students and such and I have noticed that it used to be the japanese sims didnt even have asian eyes, but a while ago they did that eye update which added new asian eye presets and many of the new random japanese sims do have eyes selected from those presets........it still doesnt change the fact they all have blond or brown hair though............
(yep, I'm referring to people who work or associate with EA)

You can also fix glitched houses, like that one in the starter section of that desert world.
I also added a basement to Yuma Hights.... I call it Yuma Flats.
