merch shop is dropping crashing game
hi! everytime i close out of 'The Merch shop is dropping!' it crashes my game! cant even turn off mods because it wont let me close out of the thing!

Why did I spend £700 on this game for it to crash on an ad for MERCH??

You could just drag your mod folder out before your start the game?
Another option is to change the settings direct in options.ini which is located under: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

Search mod -> scripmodsenabled = 0 -> modsdisabled = 1 -> save

just gonna uninstall until next pack

I have the same problem. Remove the mods folder it works, put it back in it crashes.

The problem is you get this pop-up now always after starting your game. It seems EA try very hard to sell their Mech Shop to people… this get annoying. I read it for some user its help just to wait a while, then after to disable *Always show at startup* - step 4 in linked post.
