The Sims™ 4

The Sims™ 4

Polygamy .
So in real life, Polygamy has been outlawed in most so called " civilized nations " of the world, but still is a normal practice throughout the world. In a way it does make sense to some when explained. Women generally outnumber men 7 to one and in some cities, states and even countries, that number is much greater. Even here in America, Women outnumber Men and a lot of eligible ladies will never Marry, find love, ect ect.
With that said, Polygamy is perfectly legal in the Sims 4 world.
There are a few ways to make it possible for your Male of Female Sim to have multiple partners, both Romantic and other, to live underneath the same roof and never be exposed by a Flirty Sim.

HERE ARE A FEW WAYS:

TIP #1 = Lock doors for a specific Sim.
If you have another Live in Girlfriend / boyfriend other than your Wife or Husband and they have their own sleeping quarters, make it only accessible to that Sim. You can follow her or him into the bedroom or go into the Bedroom and call them over and be as flirty as you like.

TIP #2 + Make a second Floor in the Home.
If you don't have the City pack like I do and just have a regular house, make a second apartment upstairs. A kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. Make sure to lock the doors to Sims that you do not want to interact with that Sim. This also includes toddlers too, cause they will explore, So lock the door for them also.

DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE.
If you do not lock the doors for specific Sims, they tend to use various sinks, surfaces and counters to prep food, wash dishes or cook in. My second Wife who has her own apartment, prepped the food upstairs, cooked and ate it upstairs, then went downstairs to wash her dish. Caught me smooching my 1st wife and it was a disaster. She had a loyal perk and it was extremely difficult to get her to trust me again.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

THE VAMPIRE PACK
I have the Vampire pack. I also have a coffin that I sleep in. When my 3 Wives are at home and interacting with each other, I go to the coffin and hibernate. This allows my Sim to get out of the way, preserving our individual romantic levels the way that they were before I went into the coffin.

JOBS AND CAREERS
If you have multiple Romantic partners, Male or Female, carefully hand pick their jobs and work times. Whomever the Head of the household is, whether they work or not, (mine doesn't work), put your lovers all on different Work schedules. For instance, my 1st wife goes to work at 8am. While the second one goes to work at 10am, and the 3rd at 2pm. This gives me time to interact with each lover in the house. Sometimes, 2 of the 3 will have a regular schedule, while the other is on vacation.

GOING OUT ON A DATE
Normally I suggest a Date when my Male Sim gets caught lacking by one of the wives. The one that felt jilted is the one that I'm taking out. This gives us enough time to rekindle our interests and get back in good graces.

I hope this post is helpful to most. I am open to learning different ways of Sims Polygamous relationships from my fellow gamers. Ask as many questions as you like. I do have pictures as well.

Just use WickedWhims mod if you are over 18.
CN control menu
CN Mod Settings Menu
CN also has some great Vampire mods also.
You can find these on Sims4 Nexus Mods
You only get the vanilla WW on Nexus, so if you want the full version you can find it on Loverslab.

I activate the polyamorous relationship trait in WonderfulWhims and play accordingly.~

As for your stats, LGBTQ+ people exist. The women outnumbering men, etc. doesn't account for romantic relationship age gaps or the nuance that is attraction and orientation.

Poly relationships make sense for some Sims, and the're MUCH easier to do in The Sims using mods. I'm using the WonderfulWhims mod + poly relationships to see how many babies my main Sim's HS sweetheart can parent, just out of curiosity. Like if he were to donate sperm in the real world, but like...obviously, he can't do that in Sims. So he impregnates, grows the population (which I might regret later, since I'm doing a legacy and am 4 gens in), without any of the kids being added to the household since the mothers raise them (so basically NPC kids).

Without mods, polyam ships are next to impossible. Mods make the poly ships feel like true poly because there's no accusations of cheating/etc. betrayals.

I was reading this thinking but men outnumber women in my game. I really need to do better playing realistically.

Female sims outnumber male sims is based on a biased assumption and the same is also true especially for real life as well where in reality men and women are actually split more evenly in the United States than you might think that is actually closer to 50/50 with women only outnumbering the men when it comes to the "elderly" category. As for The SIms 4 it largely depends on someone's personal play style preference and if someone prefers male sims over female sims and also for the opposite as well. Also, the chances of sims (usually female, except for alien pregnancies) giving birth to a male vs. female sim is completely random as well. For example, if your sim were to have only male or only female children from giving birth/Science baby that may require changing the child's gender from either while inside of the womb (MCCC and perhaps from various other mods as well) or shortly after birth (infant lifestage).

I don't know where you found that info out, but that is not true at all.
Globally, Men and women are pretty close to 50/50.
There are some countries that have a higher amount of men to women, or the other way around. A lot of the Baltic countries have a higher ratio of women: 0.8 men per woman.
United States has 0.97 men per woman.
Whereas Qatar has 3.39 men per woman.

Not to mention how does real life even relate to The Sims 4? In a fantasy Sims 4 gameplay you could have a female sim majority if you wanted depending on play style preference or even make all of the sims female (although that could also be a lot of work as well and perhaps even a waste of time), but it does not work that way in the real world. While polygamy is legal on The SIms 4 and with the right mods it is very much so illegal for most countries in real life. I also agree with a previous statement about creeps plaguing the forums.

Sounds like a whole lot of work for degeneracy.

The intro to this "guide" is lowkey weird.

Polygamy would mean that the partners would all agree and there would be no need to "smooth" things over. So to me the entire guide of how to make this look like that is silly. I could pretend that the bar makes real alcohol and then not go to work and get fired because I'm a drunk but that's me pretending something is there that is not.

In Polygamy everyone would be snug as a bug in a rug and not care who was with who so the guide should have been "How to cheat on your girlfriend and not get in trouble."

Besides, being a global PROPER superstar and making people gather round to only have them all faint at my presence is much more fun and meaningful. :winter2019cooldog:

Imagine if any 'modern people' think that anything done by royal kings of previous centuries as degeneracy and selfish.
