Free The Expansion Packs!

They are far too much money!! like whay? £35 pound per pack?? personally, they should make the Sims 4 basegame cost £45 for all expansions and add ons included! its too expensive :(

they wont. at most it'll drop to half price when sims 5 comes out like sims 3 did for sims 4 launch, but they will never make the dlcs free

The Sims 4 base game is free and they are always adding new free content through updates. You can get expansions for half off during sales. I would be pleasantly surprised if EA gave away their expansion packs for free. They did giveaway a $5 kit for free last year but I don't see that happening for the bigger packs. The community got the infants they wanted but they have to pay for infant game play features in the Growing Together expansion for instance. Out of all the iterations Sims 4 is the most expensive with all the DLC costing up to $1000 dollars.

DLC get often enough on sale in sims4. It is still expensive? Sure, but this game get content since September 2014. Just purchased DLC if they are 50% off and use bundle option. With this method Sims4 should you cost 530 Dollar/Euro (-sets). Besides, you don’t need all DLC the game is perfect playable if you only use half DLC (+ you avoid some nasty bugs, example: My Wedding Stories, the destroyer of Weddings)

bro 530 for building houses and clothing sims. Red dead redemption 2 didnt cost half as much on release.

Red dead redemption 2 and sims 4 have a different cliental. Most simmer don’t mind to give 5 euro/dollar for cute items. If Red dead redemption would try to charge 5 euro/dollar for different chairs skin the fan base would try to burn the house down. You can’t really compare these two games.

Most simmer only play sims, and don’t play much other games. If you think so all 2–3-month 5 euro for a kit is much less as to purchase a full game for 50-70 Euro/Dollar. Self-full price DLC are not expensive if you don’t play other games. It is all a matter of perspective.

well first off i gotta disagree with you. Rockstars fanbase is a bunch of npcs who will take anything even if it is the worst, they are so willing to give rockstar their money for the most lazy updates. (talking about Red dead online (or GTA even worse), not the main game. Main game is rightuffly a masterpiece.)

But yeah if we dont take full price in 1-time into account 5$ in a one-time purchase is a-ok. I did buy some sims4 dlcs aswell and i do that on other games too. But it still strikes me insane how a tripple A title with full content is basicly not as expensive as something that exists since 2014 whos base-game is almost nothing if you dont have any DLCs. Sims 4 definitly has worse prices than other games.

Okey sorry for my wrong assumption, I don’t play any rockstar games. So, I don’t really know how this community tick.

This was always so with any sims game. Sims1/2/3 was too expensive with all DLC but If you think so they are still cheaper as train simulator because they simple have still less DLC.

oh no worries, but yeah the rockstar has a gold mine with those fans XD partly rockstar also deserves to have a relentless fan community for the main games they make. But their online stuff is just...

And i didnt play train simulator (or any simulator) but yeah i know they are very expensive too.
i guess its a case of preferences.
