With Google? Did you mean link EA Account with Steam?

i recently got a new windows laptop n i logged into my ea account. i didn’t know that there’ea switched to the ea app instead of origin on windows. i used to use a macbook. when i logged back in it wanted me to link my ea app to my google account. it won’t let me proceed without linking.

If yoiu havent signed into the EA App on that computer before it may be offering a choice of signing in using Google as an alternative to using your EA account. You dont need to do that, But if you did sign in with google, then obviosly it will want to link it to an existing or new EA Account so you can actually use the app.

If you did do that, then sign out and sign back in useing your EA Account NOT google
