Well I have played 3328 hours to be extact and log in this morning, but now for some reason it wants me to have an EA account. I can still log into Sims 3 no problem. I have many DLC's and I am afraid if I do make an EA account I may lose them. I have been playing on Steam for around 10 years (I think) now and have never had an issue like this before. I will probilly contact Steam about this as since I bought Sims 4 thru Steam this is their problem. Merlin
Hahahahaaa! If that is the case and you have to play Sims 4 with no mods then I guess I would be done playing Sims 4! I really dought that is the case as Sims 4 base game with no mods is about the most boreing game there is! I do remember about a year ago I did have this issue now that I think about it and it cleared up a few hours later. I am hopeing it go's back to normal by tommorrow and if not I will contact Steam and if for some reason EA did make the "Fooless" choice of not allowing mods to be used then I really dought they want to refund all their players the money for The Sims 4 to players! Merlin
You're easily led to believe things. Regardless, you can still mod and add cc.
Edit: as a double check, switched my mod folders around, got different sets depending on how violently evil I'm feeling.. lol. Didn't have any issues with a log in or launch, etc. Was able to access the gallery and connect to download/upload/browse.
This one is going to be a you problem it seems.
I just tried it again. so i'll restart it and see if that helps. It paused at the time on repair and there is no way to restart it, so i cancelled and tried again.
Now this is what i expected to see from EA, a CF of their own making.
The restart did nothing except bring the same message up.
Edit: searching around the outside of the App i've found out its that legacy issue nonsense again i thought was resolved a while back on Origin, the missing files are a tell tale sign. After this I did a computer restart instead of a second app restart and it's working correctly on repairs.
Idiotic Ea App.
