I need help how to fix Sims 4 so it can start on my pc again

I tried *everything* and yet the game refuses to start up, it keep saying:
"Unable to start: Cannot start becuase game data is missing or damaged. If you have Mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin"

I don`t have mods, and I repaired and reinstalled the games via Origin 3 times and nothing, help me pls!

You seem to own the game in Steam, so install the game via Steam and not via Origin.

It happened to me today after installed a mod, I deleted the mod but the problem remained, so I did like @Jack Schitt said and checked the integrity of the game, Steam found out like 24 files and then everything was fine.

Make sure you have the most up to date EA app (not Origin) and reinstall. Just reinstall over your current installation. Try that.

I've brought the sims and i have re downloaded it and when I try to launch it it sends me to orgin and I sign in and it say I dont have the game and I dont have a code for the game ive brought

It seems like everyone has the same problem at the moment. I've read they wanted to fix it, but that was 3 weeks ago or so and since then noone has heard a thing and people are also complaining about add ons that they bought gone missing... Thumbs up for ea.

Ok.. so an hour ago I tried to start the game.. was playing something else when it suddenly did start. so you just have to be very patient xD

I guess once you start The Sims 4, you put your computer to sleep anytime someone wants to take a break from using the computer until bed time or spending a considerable amount of time away from the computer besides just sleeping assuming that it is a Desktop computer instead of a laptop computer and also assuming that you are only specifically referring to EA App instead of Origin. It should not have to take an hour to play The Sims 4. It should start immediately just as long as EA App or Origin is open and currently logged in as well.

uninstall and delete everything and including appdata for origin and ea app if its there and dont del game files and install from steam only and dont do anything with ea xcept what have to

I have the same issue of the game not starting, error box with ''....please install game or if you have then please make a connection using the default app settings''. i have tried verifying the game files, repairing the entire game folder, uninstalling the game and reinstalling, restarting the computer, restarting steam after clearing every cache. why wont my game work?!?!?!!!!!
