I guess once you start The Sims 4, you put your computer to sleep anytime someone wants to take a break from using the computer until bed time or spending a considerable amount of time away from the computer besides just sleeping assuming that it is a Desktop computer instead of a laptop computer and also assuming that you are only specifically referring to EA App instead of Origin. It should not have to take an hour to play The Sims 4. It should start immediately just as long as EA App or Origin is open and currently logged in as well.
uninstall and delete everything and including appdata for origin and ea app if its there and dont del game files and install from steam only and dont do anything with ea xcept what have to
