I haven't seen any of those reports. I might have unsubscribed from those topics on these forums. That could be why I haven't seen people reporting the patch(es) for it didn't fix it.
I predicted the devs may not be able to fix this if it's a mod people experiencing this have in common causing it. That would explain why the 2 (?) patches they released for it haven't corrected it.
I'm not running many mods and this issue wasn't and still isn't happening to me. Sims interacting with each other did improve to be positive more often after the December 6th patch for me.
It's not going to hurt anything for the people experiencing this issue to test the game without any mods to insure it's not a mod causing it before discrediting that suggestion. They might come to the conclusion that it is a mod causing it.
Developers aren't able to fix issues caused by mods (easily in an acceptable way for the community). The mod author(s) have to correct that.
That's a bummer consoles are excluded from using mods and CC. :(
