I am not a fan of this either. Especially if one of the wants involves incest with a family member. Aging up is the most obvious problem after the update, but incest is another problem as well that came after the update where romance and possibly even woohoo is allowed between family members. It is disgusing! There is a reason why the MC WooHoo adult mod was the only way to have incest and it should have been kept that way.
Exactly and who in their right mind would make a request that incest should be allowed to play with on basegame? Someone that works for EA who is a part of top management that is involved in making The Sims 4? Nobody in their right mind would ask for incest to be added into basegame. Incest (such as romance options and woohoo or mess around partner with close family members for example) is practical for a mod only which I can imagine hardly anyone ever uses incest even with the MC Woohoo mod, except for maybe just a few people.
Removing the ability to dismiss unwanted whims/wants/whatevers (seriously, what's the flipping difference, EA?) is a highly annoying and unwarranted change. Attempting to enforce spending sat-points on something that was once part of the core game UI is nothing more-or-less than change for the sake of change.
Requiring satisfaction points just to get a whim refresher potion is a rip off! Why waste satisfaction points for something that is supposed to do just that? Give you extra satisfaction points?

I am afraid of playing The Sims 4 right now. Fortunately, I only opened one of my saved games, but I hate the fact I have to turn off auto aging immediately for everyone when first starting the game. Assuming that aging is still allowed even with auto age turned off that would still be a tedious and time consuming process for me to make everyone age up. I do not want infants for example to stay infants forever since that is pretty much the most useless life stage in general where they are treated as just merely objects.
