Unplayed Sims questions
I have a question concerning unplayed sims. Number 1,not really a question, but if I select a family for moving someone somewhere else or make any changes to them from Edit Create A Sim from "Manage Worlds" apparently they count as "unplayed sims" where they add to my sim family count even if I never intend on playing with them. Number 2, the option for turning off aging with unplayed sims, does that also include "other" families that are not included as part of your family count or is this only in reference to families that you have complete control over, but have never played them (such as for example lets just say I move a sim from somewhere else from a household that is not one of mine that I have never used before, but count as "unplayed" if I move one of the sims from that family to somewhere else but not used from "ask to move in")? The unplayed sims is a bit confusing, because I do not think that sims from neighborhood stories that you have more limited control over are the same exact thing as sim families that you currently own, but count as unplayed.

Turning aging off for unplayed sims is for ALL sims. Both favorited and unfavorited. This includes Pets and Babies. Meaning if a married family keeps having babies from neighborhood stories they will fill their house with babies which cannot be deleted or managed from Manage Worlds. This does not include animals from Cottage Living, they have a separate toggle.

If a sim is added to favorites (counting against your sim count) and you dont want them there, click the heart icon in manage worlds for the family to unfavorite them. This can also be done to make a Played househould count as not played. Keep in mind if you make a household played for even a second they will lose their NPC job, like Pizza Deliverer or Maid.

The sims from neighborhood stories that you have more more limited control over is worth mentioning, because in my personal opinion they could also count as unplayed as well. However, this is not specifically mentioned anywhere. Unplayed Sims for example from "your households" for example are different from Sims involving other households that are unplayed. It is confusing because I am not sure if from the options menu it is only in reference to unplayed sims from your households or both versions of unplayed from your households and unplayed from other households as well when it comes to option of turning off aging.

Thanks. So this means in reference to all unplayed sims and not only just in reference to unplayed sims from your households. I personally do not think that it is a good idea to turn this off for aging then for unplayed sims if it effects everyone else (especially with newborns not aging up on their own). You can for example set lifespan to long instead of short if you want sims from neighborhood stories to age up, but not too fast.

I think that I understand now what you meant by favorited and unfavorited. If I unselect a heart for example the household possibly could move into the other households section where I would not have control of them anymore and they can do whatever they want. This could help a lot actually, because I do not want to have full control over all of the sim families.
