The Sims™ 4

My Sim won´t sleep anymore
I deleted all mods and tray and started the game without these additions. My sim was getting tired and I clicked on the bed to put him to sleep. Then the sleep bar appears, but only briefly, and the Sim gets up again to eat, read, watch TV, or something else. He's getting more and more tired, but he can't sleep. What's going on there?

Any music playing in the house? And of course, make sure their other needs are met before sleeping.

by any chance is you sim living in an apartment? if so, neighbours making noise can keep your sim up and won't let them sleep until the noise disturbance ends. typically at night it started up around 10:30pm-11pm and lasts to around 3am game time iirc.

i use a mod that brings the "quiet" lot trait into the game through build mode so i can use it on my sims apartment, that way there is never going to be any further noise disturbances from the neighbours in other apartments.

Every needs are full, i know the mechanic of the game. There is no noise, no need or any other reason why my sim is not sleeping. He is not angry about anything. He lies down in the bed and then he stand up again to watch tv or read a book.

I deleted all mods because they made a error alert. Since I did not find the faulty mod, I deleted all of them. The error alert indicated that something is wrong with a DLC and therefore the mods are not working. Now all the mods are gone but the game still doesn't work properly.

you should be able to use your mods again since it was just a corrupted file in one of the dlc's.

I do the same thing for fire. Ctrl + Shift + C fire.toggle false There's nothing to ruin a good cooking date like your stove catching on fire, lol.

After deleting the mods, did you delete the (proper) cache files? I had that sleeping problem this week. However, I _simply_ exited the game, deleted cache files, opened the same file using a different household, did "Save as ..." and renamed my file before going back to the original household that would not sleep.
Hope this helps.

My problem is solved. My sims can sleep now. But i tried to install the mods, then the game make trouble again. I took the mods out and the game is running. The problems are because the mods. I have to find the troublemaker mod and delete it. But this took a lot of work.

Thank you for help.

so it's not a cache issue, it's a mod issue.
