How do I fix a deleted floor?

I accidentally deleted a floor on the upstairs of my home. Now my sims can't walk on the floor. I ended up using the custom wall tool to outline the room. Now I can place items down. But even after putting floor tiles down they are invisible and my sim won't walk into the room.

There's no other way to fix it? I don't have a clue when the floor was deleted because it's in a room I don't really pay attention to so I'm not sure exactly when the floor got deleted.

Have your tried rebuilding the second floor completely using base game walls and flooring?

I didn't think i'd have to rebuild the entire second floor because it's just one room that I'm unable to enter.

Just redo that room that's disappeared!

As I've stated I don't know how. I built walls like the custom room walls yet I still can't place floor tiles down. Yet I have a bed, a computer desk, and a bookshelf floating on nothing.

Try building the room without using CC and see if that helps at all. If it does then you can add all of the furniture in as you did before the whole room disappeared. I will say one thing though, as silly as it may sound, save the room when it's blank and then save it again when you've got say the bed down. If you are finding it still just floating then you may have to repair the game.

I can confirm that using the "Room Tool" and going over where the room already is will fix the flooring issue. Btw, DO NOT use a sparkler in the house. ROFL!!! My Sim almost burnt down her home with one. That's why I was searching Google for how to fix this issue when I came across this forum. Also, I didn't have any of the items in the rooms disappear when doing this method.
