INSTALLATION issue? Sims 4 downloaded on Steam, Origin won't play because it's "not" installed
Hi,

I've tried reinstalling Sims 4, reinstalling Origin, restarting the PC. I've only just bought the game. I've tried to research the problem, and others are having difficulty too, but no answers how to fix it?

I pressed download in Origin (first time in Steam then tried reinstalling), it brought up Steam and downloaded it. Back in Origin though, it refuses to play and just says it's not installed, even though it is installed.

Help? Thanks

try verifying the files or reinstalling it that mightbe part of the issue

I tried verifying the files and reinstalling. Tried what I thought was everything.. My brother worked it out though! Apparently I had to load both Steam and Origin as an Administer? Then it worked.. *shrugs*. A days worth of effort to find that was what was needed.

ooof thats sounding about like what i figured out lmao i have two disc drives on my pc and if some of the games aren't installed on the same drive as steam they dont work. thats what i had to do with my origin and sims. i had to move my origin files over to the same drive as my sims and it works now. im glad you got it workign!

Something as simple to me wouldn't have even been considered, haha. I'll now keep that in mind, thankyou.
Think you might have to have a chat with that PC of yours about teamwork :P
