Quick question, can Sims 4 cause blue screens?

My PC blue screened today. I played The Sims 4 and my internet kept turning off and on causing the game to do weird things because you're offline suddenly. When turning off my PC after playing Sims 4, it made it delay for a bit before turning off. And today my PC was lagging and my cursor was too. And a blue screen happened. Is it causing my system to be worn out causing it to have errors, or just a problem of my PC itself? I know this is kind of an off topic thing, but The Sims 4 just popped up in my head and made me wonder. But I'm just curious if this has happened to someone else.

It's possible, but without knowing what your BSoD error actually was, there's no way to tell you. Did you write down the error code?

I just left my room and it was back on the lock screen. Which probably means something happened while I was away. But I'm just curious if this sort of thing such as a blue screen could happen because of The Sims 4.

any PC program including games can cause a BSOD the sims 4 is no exception

like piper said theres no way to know what actually caused it unless you look up the code

also are you using wireless internet? your interner going on and off like that coulda caused it, it could also mean your wifi card is going out mine did that a few months back couldnt stay connected to the internet for more then a few minutes at a time had to replace it

If it were a general internet outage it won't effect your gameplay experience, you just won't have any access to the online gallery, Steam and/or Origin until the connection returns.

so if you have some issue with your network card, it might be an idea to try switching to a hardline connection with an ethernet cable connected to your router and laptop and see if that helps..

The internet thing could have been nothing, but it just made me think.
