It hasn't been checked yet for Deck compatibility but it runs great on Proton v7.0-1 according to ProtonDB. So, it probably will be compatible.

Considering the game does not support controllers, any compatibility will be very questionable.

I can confirm the Sims 4 works perfectly on Steam Deck, IT DOES have controller support and you can customise it to add the Origin overlay and cheat command ;)
My issue currently is that it isnt picking up ALL of my DLC from Origin so whilse completly playable, I currently cant get a dog! haha,

Binded Shift-F1 to a back grip button but in the download manager of the Origin overlay, there are a bunch of expansions I own that are queued up. Hoping after all of these DLC's download, I'll be able to add my Sim from the gallery without the "download in progress" pop up.

Sims 4 runs great on Deck. However, I have issues getting into the game sometimes. Once and awhile the game will get stuck on the title screen. Once that happens it will repeatedly get stuck every time I launch it till I solve the problem. Holding the STEAM Button + B for a second seems to work for me and allows the game to get to the main menu. However, make sure you let go of the button combo before the Force Close takes affect.

Just tried it and I couldn't get past the 'Type a name for profile' bit, it wouldn't give me a keyboard and I couldn't force it from steam shortcuts.
But even on that screen, my steam deck was hotter than I have ever known it. So I'm a bit nervous of trying it again on there.
