It's just a joke, you can't open it xd
also the description says it
"The ancient lock is so rusted it wouldn't bunge even with the proper key, likely lost to watery depths"
Well, First the description says it, you don't have to look more on it
"The ancient lock is so rusted it wouldn't bunge even with the proper key"
But if you want to check at the game files you'll notice firstly that there's no key for it, it just doesn't exists xd, the object has only one state that is "Closed" and that the object only has one tunning resource "4CEB79364FF37B05", that doesn't exists, there's an interaciton tunning too for two stringtables "BC6EF586" and "14F8CCDF", that are used for when you put the cursor over it.. the open interactions doesn't have anything to trigger it so basically it's just an "Open" interaction that does nothing.
in resume, a joke :v
I don't think it's a trick.
There is one thing you can do with it, and that is to sell it.
If you do it gives you §5000. A similar working case would only get you §240 or less...
It is possible that the Simoleons for its sale are actually the prize for having found it, and gaining access to it. (Access to be able to sell it that is.)
