- have most of the other expansions
- like rags to riches type of play
- Farming
- Like tending to animals
- living off the land
If these aren't your play style, then wait for a sale.
I definitely think it belongs as farming and the cottage lifestyle. It is even better with other DLC's
Well, Cottage Living is the one that I still not own yet, I've owned other game pack and expansion packs already. And seems like you just list everything that I like :D . But still only one small concern, I heard people says about bug glitches and some broken issues in this expansion pack, did you encounter any?
Fun and worth the buy or not, I think it depends on how you play it. It looked very boring on some Youtube channels, but it looked very interesting and a lot of fun on some other channels. Because each person plays it differently.
If you are a "role player" like me. This pack adds a huge amount of new roleplay elements and abilities to the game, much more so if you own all other packs.
It is a very good pack, good amount of new items, and some new gameplay mechanics that enable new RPG opportunities. However, the full price is still too high no matter, because I
think in general a DLC should not be over 20 - 25 USD.
I have been working a lot of overtime at my job lately, so I can't give you an accurate answer. The little bit of time that I have played, I haven't encountered anything that is game breaking. I am probably not even close to the best person to ask about bugs, I am sorry.
[edit to add] Also, be careful with reading bug reports, many people use mods and the mods are probably their main issues. There was a 2nd update since the release of cottage living yesterday, so only pay attention to any new reports and make sure that those people aren't using any mods.
either way you will end up playing it eventually and save some money at the same time if you are patient
I totally agree.
All of my packs I bought from 50% and 25% sale. It usually takes 3 months for 25%, and 6 months for 50%, but sometimes much sooner on third party websites such as cdkeys.com and g2a. I always keep an eye on those third party websites too. But most of my packs came from Origin and Steam because more reliable.
The Cottage Living pack is the first one that I bought full price on launch.
So.. which mean Cottage Living pack worth the full price you mean?
As I said in my earlier post that a DLC should never be higher than 20 - 25 USD.
But I bought the Cottage Living pack full price because I personally needed it to go back to play the Sims 4. This pack is much needed for RPG players.
