Journey to Batuu mods.

Controversial Opinion: I wish the Journey to Batuu DLC didn't get so much hate. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty lackluster on it's own. I believed the reviews but I bought it anyway because I anticipated some interesting mods coming out of it.

I didn't anticipate so many modders refusing to so much as touch it.

I did find one interesting mod, which gives more use to Lightsabers outside Batuu by allowing multiple households to own them (available here, if you're curious: https://www.patreon.com/posts/challenge-spar-41599722), but I wish there was more.

To be specific, there are two mods I was hoping for:

A Lightsaber-to-sword mod. I am a fan of medieval settings, and the fact that this DLC implemented a sort of "sword fight" feature (that wasn't as limited as the stuff that came with Get Famous) made me hope that somebody would allow their creative juices to flow.

Perhaps some deadly combat mods. Before anyone says, yes I am aware that Sacrificial has Star Wars themed deaths in his Extreme Violence mod. But that isn't what I'm looking for (and I never will get what I want from him, because he has made it VERY clear he absolutely WILL NOT touch the Journey to Batuu DLC). At any rate, I would like some blaster battles, and life-or-death Lightsaber duels to be added.

In the time since I've posted this, a few things have come up that I think might be worth bringing up to the few players who actually like Journey to Batuu.

First of all, the guy I linked to for the lightsaber inventory fix has taken down his patreon, so his mod is no longer available. Here's a link to a new mod with an identical effect: https://sems-own-world.de/en/lichtschwert-fix/

I just looked at it, but it says it has no duel to the death. I'll probably just stick to lightsabers.
