Origin discounts are better
The discounts at Origin are better than those offered on Steam :greenbeast1:

I prefer to buy on steam because I know that they will refund your money if the game is buggy, but it is good to keep in mind that those who buy at the origin are paying less.

For the last 2 sales that wasn't true - it was exactly the same prices. Except for 1 addon that was even cheaper in Steam, but that probably was because that sale was later than the origin one.

Research it yourself guys: at Origin you can make custom bundles, which gives you more discount on items that got already HIGHER discount than Steam. AT THIS MOMENT, on black friday, for instance, the DLC Fitness Stuff is 50% off at Origin, while the maximum discount registered by STEAM DB on the same Steam package was 25%.

Meh. Already got all DLC. Don't care about discounts.
I'm also trying to buy all DLC, but it looks like the motherlode isn't working in real life

Next Steam sale will probably be as cheap ... just cause it's later. As I said, it was the same with the SW pack. Because by the time of the Steam sale the Snow pack was out.
Or because they have a theme again something might be cheaper. There was a Halloween theme both on Origin and Steam.

But yes, there are packs cheaper in this origin sale than the last Steam OR ORIGIN sale.
That doesn't mean it's cheaper on Origin than Steam in general though.

As for the bundles: If you only want the addons e.g. they are no use to you. Because they always are 1 addon, 1 gameplay pack and 1 stuffpack. I did research it ...

Also, AFAIK you didn't get discount on the bundles - except for the regular bundle discount. But maybe that changed. *shrug*

@poster above me: what do you mean, no?
You can buy base game an Steam, DLC on Origin and run it all together.

I agree with you, ajfusch: packages are blocked by type. But I managed to take advantage of their discounts. It is also true that the SW dlc is cheaper on Steam.

I also hope that Steam will keep up the discounts or maybe offer more bundles. I thought Steam wouldn't allow Origin to get customers like that, I thought there would be some parity ... but it seems that is not the case.
