Sync with Origin

I have all dlc's without last one in Origin. If I buy the last one here, is it possible to be synchronized with my Origin acc,or it needs to buy original game and all dlc's here also?

A follow up question, in the interest of Steam and Valve: I have the original game on Origin but if I could activate it here on Steam, I would definitely buy the expansion packs here, because it's easier for me to activate Steam Gift Cards. Is there this possibillity?

Maybe by buying the base game on Steam. This will create a "new" Steam version of Sims in your Origin. Then uninstall the usual used Sims via Origins and reinstall the DLCs trough the Steam version in Origins. This means no "theft" cause you're just reinstalling the packs you bought into another instance in origins, the one linked with steam. should work probably I guess.

i think when you launch the game on steam.. the game will have all the dlc you have owned in origin and after that the dlc you have owned in origin will not appeared on steam unless you buy the dlc again

Yes all need Origin and your achievements not in Steam but Origin, don't buy it

There's an option to link to origin when you launch the game. Unfortunately for me, the actual game part doesn't seem to be launching. Also, the DLC did not show up once I linked Origin.

P.S. As for example, Elder Scrolls Online. Even if you got game via Steam, you can purchace stuff and subscribtion via official site. Steam wont see those purchaces (and official billing history dont show Steam purchaces as well, lol), but everything works somehow.

Well from what I gathered with my experience from Dragon Age Inquisition you will run the full Origin client next to steam. So I went and got myself the Sims 4 on Origin in the past 2 weeks where they were holding an even deeper sale then the one they have now here on Steam.

Yes, but I wanted to do the other way around: I have it on Origin. I wanted to buy the Expansion packs from Steam............
Maybe that interconnection is still in the making...
