Game Fixed?

I heard that this game has frequent crashes and some bugs and that it was abandoned since 2021, do you think that its a good acquisition now on 2023?

Now its on Sale, so I am tempted.

I can't find one announcement of any patch, not from the store page anyway. It looks like the game has been abandoned by the devs, DLCs aside, which is a shame as, based on reviews, the game is still affected by issues that make the game less enjoyable.
I am tempted by the sale too, and hope somebody here will contradict me.

I did find announcements of patches, after Sep 2021 they seem all cosmetic anyway

There is still things that are messed up, like having to switch to window mode to change the resolution and the doc still crashing after upgrading on occasion.
It’s always going to be Jank you can get it to run, smooth-ish, if you’re willing to mess with the settings more than none at all.

just got it, usually crash mid mission or right after i complete a mission, happens constantly, among all the other jank

I found a bug. If you use a health kit, then exit the game, when you restart that health kit is used, even if it is right after starting from that same checkpoint. Please fix. I went from three health kits, to zero because the game exited at the start of a checkpoint.

4 hours in, never had any kind of issues personally, not even frame drops

could have been me honestly, was getting so bad, updated pc and gpu drivers and moved it to ssd, running better with so far no crashes, ill keep going and see if it changes.

edit: so far all i changed was run the game as admin, turn off overlay, verify, updated windows and gpu, moved to different drive and cleared some space, restarted. so far still no issues, 100% my fault

I have a bug where skill wheel won´t work so pretty anoying. How they thought this should not be fixed is beyond me.

I have 2 streumon studios games and both are a buggy mess.

No problem bro, good to know that now is working for you. I am still not convinced, so if you experience more bugs please let us know.

Do enemies still spawn out of thin air?

I put in 80+ hours. The game rocks. On some missions you will have a constant spawn. Those are missions that take place deep in gang territories where you would expect them to keep pouring in to drive you out. Most of the story missions don't have this. Side missions to kill gang leaders, destroy their supplies or capture and hold their territories will have the swarms of enemies you'd expect when someone attacks gang territory run by one of the great houses in a hive city home to billions. I've also found that disabling Steam overlay helps on alot of games. I turn it off on every game I play. I had one crash before remembering to do this and have had none since.
