Hired Gun on the other hand has a weird system that is less than intuitive at first, but it's easy to learn and it doesn't waste the player's time like the inventory systems of others games do.
It shouldn't be clunky and un-intuitive, this is a £35 game. There are indie games for £5 with easier to use UI.
How do you buy new weapons between missions? I went to the artificer, but it only allows me to customise weapons, can't even sell stuff. I did not ice that when I got back to Martyr's End I had a list on the top right of new weapons and their prices, but I've got no clue where to acquire them.
To put it bluntly: where is the big BUY WEAPONS button?
When you spawn in walk forward before you get to the bar look to your left there’s a lady with a bunch of weapons talking through a speaker.
You can buy every piece of equipment from her but only to level blue.
purple and golds you’re gonna have to farm yourself and you can also sell things to her.
Also suggested that you leave one weapon slot in each category open depending on how long you are going to play if you’re aiming for a gold version of your weapons you want to strip the tech and charms from the old one first before switching them out.
First, to answer the question directly above me, the Artificer sells gun customization the merchant sits opposite to the doctor.
I think the most telling thing about them is if you look at the original game before Necromunda, E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy. E.Y.E can charitably described as '♥♥♥♥♥♥ up'. It's a weird-ass game with poor direction, huge labyrinthine mission areas, absurdly clunky inventory and upgrade mechanics, and yet it's one of the most fun games in my library because of its shockingly competent gunplay. To people who are familiar with E.Y.E were pretty much aware what they signed up for here, a janky game that is still a significant improvement over E.Y.E in almost every regard, and absurdly fun gunplay. I don't think I can go back to a normal FPS after juggling around Bolters haha.
I think you can also customize your weapons in the pre mission screen but I might be wrong on that one.
