Controller Issues

When using a controller the mouse cursor appears on screen in menus as well as when you talk with npc/vendors etc. The other thing is the on-screen prompts for buttons change to their keyboard counter-parts at random. Moving the mouse cursor off screen does not help as it will just come back. Also of note: I would have added this under Technical Support but I don't have permission...

You most likely have a driver/peripheral sending inputs while idle (mouse movements normally don't even count, but a joystick/HOTAS might), or some of your controller inputs are spoofing a keyboard/mouse input.

Thanks for the reply. No other peripherals besides keyboard/mouse and the Xbox one controller. When I start up the game using a controller the mouse cursor is dead center. When entering the game it disappears while walking around / playing but as soon as I open the menu it comes right back or when talked to NPCs. Worth noting I do not get a phantom mouse cursor in other games/full screen apps. The on-screen button prompts are a little trickier as I can't seem to find a pattern. I happens after maybe 10 minutes of play or maybe after the first NPC interaction but I am unsure still.

Ive had this same problem in the little ive played. also are you experience what feels like lag but freezes the entire game for like 3 seconds?

I haven't had that myself, sorry. I did have some micro stutters when I would turn off DLSS and use whatever the highest AA option is but other then that performance has been good but I also have a 3090 so I am not a good candidate for average performance.

I gotta admit. W40K has the worst game support of any franchise ever. Space hulk, this, that MMORPG, Darktide, etc.
