Necromunda: Hired Gun

Necromunda: Hired Gun

Scopes, and Sights are inaccurate
I've noticed that my rounds seem to hit WELL above the dots on my weapon sights, and i'm not sure why. I've got a lot of experience in shooters, and i'm sure that its not operator error. I mean when i'm using a long range scope on the epitaph using the finned rounds, i seem to hit a point above the top of the scope, frustrating.

Thought it might be the FOV, but fiddling with its seems to have had no effect, i'll keep fiddling with other settings, but if anyone else finds a fix, or determines if this is just a bug lemme know please. For now i'll just focus on hip firing.

Because in 40k, technical knowledge has devolved to the point where people don't fix things, but rub them with scented oils while asking them nicely to work correctly?
I have the same issue. Wondering if its just us or a general bug.
Same here, just tested it with a few weapons including Long-Las (both Longrange and midrange scope).
When I scope I retain the "Hip-Crosshair" position, even though the Scopecrosshair is like 3cm below. If I press fire I hit, if I correct so that the Scopecrosshair is on target, I shot like 3cm above the target.

to me the problem seems to be that the reticle (sight) is below the centre of the screen, and when u ADS it doesnt change the guns centre to the reticle's. And tbh unless u using a Assault rifle 'autogun', all the other guns u can just hipfire with 100% accuracy

I use scopes a lot and they are fairly accurat but it also depends on the weapon, distance and weapons accuracy. So far i even managed several headshots in series with the las rifle and medium scope on moving targets behind window frames O_o
Same thing. Its like the further away the enemy is the more off the scope is. But not in the right direction lol. Just had to use laser sights they seem to be pretty spot on so far
Some of the scope crosshairs are actually off-center.
Tested a bolt pistol, the laser sight is up and to the right and when firing down sights the impact is far above the sight, so sights no use. This was ironsight. I think they missed calibrating sights on all weapon models.

I've played some hours into the game now. This occurs on all of my weapons. The plasma cannon and pistol both float up above the reticle making them useless in distanced combat. The rest of the weapons shoot straight, just well above where they should. I haven't found a fix. Any help would be appreciated.

>>I was just playing around, and this may have been stated, but the projectile is going where the laser points, not the scope. You cannot see this if you have a laser and scope, because the scope hides the laser, but if you have the combat scope (i think it is called) you can see both the scope and the laser I think and the projectile aims at the laser. Or I may have had one too many amasec.

Screenshot showing combat reticle and laser. No shot fired.

Zoom in on the second link from my screen files and you'll see the shot mark right above the laser.

Hope that helps.

Maybe we can take this to the devs this is obviously a coded game problem. How they missed this in a damn shooter game though...? That kinda speaks of no real hard testing going on... its hard to get quality bug testers now it seems, or most companies just ignore the reports coming in thinking the bugs aren't as bad as being made out. Hope this gets fixed though.
GUYS YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR VERTICAL FOV SLIDER.

Mine was all the way to the left, someone told me to move it all the way to the right and it fixed the alignment issue!

I started playing this morning and everything was working how it was supposed to. I'm not sure if there was a quick patch or what, but if you did do a quick patch developer team thanks! I really like your game.
Yes and I don't know if it's a bug. I use laser point on all guns and laser point is accurate so you can check where you will actually hit.
Usually laser points on top of your scope so you have to shoot lower.
Crosshair is accurate so if you don't aim down the scope you are accurate.

Yeah it's way off on every gun I tested except hashin's eye, changing the FOV around did not help. I now only use that gun and it feels so much better; so if you like zipping around only getting headshots use that gun.
