Need to connect the large discharge of the truck up to the outside FDC. Then use the hose bundle inside. Also need to be pumping at around 300. next update it will only be 100
but inside the building i cant connect my hose bundle with the stand pipe...
how to work it!?
but i cant connect them to stand pipe
did you have test and try out?!
I connect the firetruck to the hydrant, then discharge 4 or 5 to the building, i open the connected discharge but the hose it's flat and no water it's flowing, i even set the pump to max.
The main intake it's flowing and a regular hose works.
There's a problem with sending water from the truck, as even the ladder have the same issue, doesn't send water even following the instructions.
By the way there's no mention of fdc conenctions in the pump guide, only truck to truck.
Edit: forgot to mention i'm using the easy pumping.
It's the easy pumping not really working as intended.
I had to manually open the tank fill to let the water flow to the building, the regular hose works, but anything regarding discharge have to be set and operated manually.
Easy pumping should be a full system override to avoid this kind of situations.
And as i alredy said, the tutorial need in deep examples and on hand executions of this kind of situations, the guide it's too generic and always helpful.
Keep in mind that not everyone it's a real life firefighter and can't know everything about advanced stuffs.
All these bugs have been fixed, and the pumping system currently works as intended
2 - The pumping system is finalized at this point, and probably won't be getting any other changes. Easy pumping is for use with the hand lines
The pumping system it's fine but it's not fully explained, the guide itself tell half what's need to know to fully operate the trucks.
I get you do it everyday, but you should explain precisely how the things work, since not everyone it's a firefighter and the tutorial it's of no help in regards.
The accademy should have ladder truck water gun, high rise and truck water exchange tutorials to help new players get into the game.
And sorry, but i won't stop commenting on the problem that the game actually have despite what you think about it, since you're the dev you'll easily miss things that others can see, and skip others that are granted for you, but not for everyone.
Like in the pumping guide you never mentioneds that you have to open the water tank fill, how should i know if you never mention it?
I managed to get it to work because i opened every switch until the water started to flow, that's the definition of antifun.
I get you're a solo dev, but every feedback should be welcome and not dissed "It's fine for me and it's not gonna change".
You're making a game for people to play and have fun, not an educational real life simulator who only a small nieche of people might enjoy.
You worked a lot into the pumping system, but the fire it's still lacking realism, it doesn't spread, it doesn't feel menacing and such, it miss into the main focus of a firefighting game.
As is the game still need a lot of work because it lack the "game".
