First time playing this game. Suggestions please?

Depends if you prefer it to feel more like a video game or a movie. Experienced feels more immersive - when you win a fight, you feel like you earned the win. Casual is better if you prefer a more passive role - you have time to actually appreciate the choreography of the fights instead of spending the whole time looking for the next button prompt.

You can always change the difficulty if you feel it's too high or low ^^
