Game doesn't run / immediately crashes [FIXED - Sort of]

Game isn't running.
I click the play button, it starts to load but then immediately closes. The only reason I know it was running even briefly was because the "Time Played" has ticked up to 1 minute.

EDIT - The "Fix"
It was identified that my "GTX 670MX driver is too old"
My hardware is out of date, meaning I can't get the software I need, which is why I can't run the game.


Other things I've tried >>

Uninstall then reinstall

Uninstall then reinstall to a different drive on my PC

I had a similar issue happen to another game: Osmos.
It was a known issue (at least to a select few who suffered from it). The fix for that was to "Browse local files" and run Oalinst.exe file in windows explorer.
The problem is that this game doesn't have a file by that name in the local files, so the same trick isn't going to help here.

As per advise given in another thread of this topic:
go to - Steam > Settings > In-game > Steam overlay
De-select all options.

5~
look in windows event viewer to if there's error log for DBH.
Right click windows Start button > Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application

6~
Update NVIDIA.
In this thread it was to specifically suggested to update Driver Version:451.67
In other threads it was suggested to update NVIDIA drives just generally.

Needles to say, none of these options worked for me. But you can give them a try, maybe you'll find more luck than me.

I'm still having crashing issues. Not a hardware problem. Not a driver problem. Not a settings problem. Maybe this game hates 6 core Ryzens? Maybe it hates Nvidia 2060 supers? I don't know.

i installed Driver Version: 23.21.13.9135 and the game wouldn't launch but did launch with Version: 425.31
