Xbox controller not functioning properly

I'm trying to play Detroit through the Xbox One's Wireless Display application. However, whenever I'm required to use the right stick to analyze an object, nothing happens other than the camera moving. I tried to move the right stick during the game's Quantic Dream loading screen like another post suggested, but that solution only worked for the first interaction and failed to work afterwards.

me too，back to the win10‘s desktop and use the“xbox accessory" to test your controller, then the problem will be sovled

I had the same issue. Doesnt worked with xbox one controller, then i switched to the xbox360 controller: same issue. Then i used the Mouse (without turning of the controller) to collect the fish (in my case) and switcht back to the controller: since then it works fine for me. Maybe it helps?
