60 FPS cap?
Is there anyway to unlock the FPS?

Yes. Go into the game's folder, look for GraphicsOptions.json, and look for FRAME_RATE_LIMIT. Set it to 3 for 144 FPS

You can set it to 4 for unlimited fps
Unlock works weird for me.
It still gives me 62-62 in main menu. In some other screens it goes up to 500, however.
In main menu I have 54% GPU Load (4070 Ti Super) and 3% CPU load (i9 14900K) so it's not because of weak hardware. I have no vsync enabled, tried turning off gsync, nvidia control panel has no FPS limit as well. WTF? :)
Remember to set the json file to read only otherwise the game will overwrite your changes!
In my case it wasn't the json (it's not rewritten unless you change the settings). It's the gsync that messed up some nvidia settings. Even though they looked fine issue was fixed after I did a reset for them in nvidia control panel (I only speak about 3d settings) and set back to previous values. Probably my case is a rare one and was caused by switching between gsync monitor and tv where I usually turn the gsync off.
