Is there that much of a difference in endings?
I ask cause I'm about to finish it. I actually enjoyed how I sometimes didn't always make the "right" choice but still somehow ended up salvaging it. I'm guessing there's only 2-3 variations of the "golden ending", and all others consist simply of different choices made throughout the game that either result in Connor dying, Kara and/or Alice dying, or Markus dying, as well as certain human characters.

But it doesn't seem like it would change the final endings too much based on those decisions. I've so far managed to keep almost EVERYONE alive, so I'm guessing other decisions might actually result in characters lost or simply with different attitudes. Also, I notice that the game has a percentage for each flowchart. I'm guessing I have to AVOID starting a "New Game" if I don't want my choices or percentages reset (basically, using Chapter Select if I want to see how other choices play out?)

I will spoil differents endings for the LAST chapter of the game, with Connor, Markus and Kara alive at the begenning of this chapter. I will tell you the "big plot endings" only, I won't talk about the second characters or the little changes you can make. Maybe I forgot some.

CONNOR and MARKUS :

-Connor is deviant. He releases thousands of androids from the CyberLife Tower. Markus is alive (maybe North, Simon and Josh are alive too depending on your choices). Androids are free. Connor frees himself from Amanda. If Hank is alive, then great moment between Hank and Connor after the credits.

-Connor is deviant. He releases thousands of androids from the CyberLife Tower. Markus is alive (maybe North, Simon and Josh are alive too depending on your choices). Connor fails to break free from Amanda at the end, he kills Markus. CyberLife wins.

-Connor is deviant but dies at the Cyberlife Tower without converting androids. Markus is alive (maybe North, Simon and Josh are alive too depending on your choices). Androids can be free, depending on your previous choices.

-Connor is deviant but dies at the Cyberlife Tower AFTER converting androids. Markus is alive (maybe North, Simon and Josh are alive too depending on your choices). Androids can be free.

-Connor is deviant and alive, Markus and North are dead. Connor takes the lead but Amanda reaches him: he frees himself from Amanda.... and he kills himself (he puts the gun under his chin, closes his eyes...the end).

-Connor is deviant and alive, Markus and North are dead. Connor takes the lead but Amanda reaches him: he fails freeing himself, Amanda takes the control of his body and leads the deviants. CyberLife wins.

-Connor is a machine. If he's friend with Hank at this point, he can kill Hank. He kills Markus, then North. CyberLife wins.

-Connor is a machine. He kills Markus but doesn't kill North. North uses the dirty bomb, humans must escape radiation, androids win. War is declared.

-Connor is a machine. Markus has kept the bomb. Connor shot Markus, and Markus uses the dirty bomb right after being shot, humans must escape radiation, androids win. War is declared.

-Markus has kept the bomb. When he has a choice to make: sacrifice, sing, kiss or... detonate the bomb and decides to use it, humans must escape radiation, androids win. War is declared.

-Connor is a machine, Markus kills him. Markus succeeds OR fails the revolution depending on your previous choices.

KARA :

-Kara got the tickets. She passes the border (with Alice and with OR without Luther depending on your choices). She's free.

-Kara got the tickets. She's detected as an android and she is killed at the border.

-Kara took the boat, she dies OR she lives depending on your choices (same goes for Alice and Luther).

-Kara is a prisoner in a camp. Markus succeeds the revolution, Kara is free (with or without Alice and Luther).

-Kara is a prisoner in a camp. Markus fails the revolution, Kara is dead.

-Kara is a prisoner in a camp. Depending on your choices in the camp, Kara is alive in a junkyard (maybe Alice and Luther are alive too) at the end. I don't know if Markus needs to succeed here or not.

As I said, this was for the LAST chapter, assuming Kara, Markus and Connor are alive at this point. But other endings (or characters endings) can occur during the previous chapters.

[EDIT: spelling, grammar. Sorry, English is not my native language.]

Well...different endings require you to make decisions earlier during previous chapters, and I think you will need to replay the game and save it.

Also, in my previous message I haven't talked about all the character endings you can get way BEFORE the final chapter happens, nor about :DetroitAndroid: THE SPECIAL ENDING :DetroitAndroid: if Kara, Markus and Connor die BEFORE Crossroads (Jericho) chapter.

But we can say YES, there is only ONE GOLDEN ENDING where everyone lives : Connor, Hank, Markus, Carl, North, Simon, Josh, Kara, Alice, Luther... To get it you need to make the right choices along all the chapters.

If you've kept your 3 main characters alive until the end that's a great achievement, believe me. They can die so easily....

My only full playthrough, I got two protags killed and set back android relations decades.

Yeah, I sadly ended up having Luther die in both of my "good endings" (which is just a variation of the same good ending I got the first time) and Kara AND Luther die the first time. Really didn't think that the river option always results in one death at least. But my peaceful demonstration succeeded, Hank and Connor are friends, and Markus won equal rights for androids, while Kara and Alice made it to the border. Probably gonna steal the tickets this time and take the bus, so all 3 survive, despite how sad it is to leave that family stranded at the stop.
