Reconstruction doesnt work (Controls dont work)

So I've played the game before on a PS5 and it was great, but now on my PC i keep getting stuck within the first minutes whenever i have to reconstruct a clue (Usually the first one with the gun case). Ive tried just skipping that clue and moving on, but the same happens with the others aswell. Restarting the game also doesnt fix this. My keyboard is fine and except for a mouse there are no other controls connected to my PC so i dont know whats left to do.
Anyone got experience in fixing this? Im kinda sick of replaying the first scene to try and sort it out.

I just had this happen to me were the right stick was moving the camera instead of doing the inputs. While at a part that was needed right stick input, I disconnected the controller, the game went to a pause menu. I reconnected the controller and then un-paused the game. Seemed to work after that.
