Keyboard and Mouse / Controller...nothing helps
I just started playing tonight, and for the life of me I cannot figure out movement in this game. I've tried using the KB and mouse, xbox controller. I just cannot figure out movement of the characters.

I am wasting too much time getting stuck in corners and going in all the wrong places or going into the wrong rooms on the first scene. I'll walk past the picture or the fish and then wind up missing those objectives.

What is the secret to moving around in this game. I was about the start the second scene but want to figure out controls before I move on.

Whats the secret????

Thanks for any advice!

WASD for movement, mouse for camera control on KB+M.
Left Stick for movement, Right Stick for camera control on Controller.
Those commands are essential for adventure games like these! Keep them in mind in case you will play more of them in the future.

Have fun!

Thanks for your reply. I know the controls and what to press it that I just can’t get them to work. It’s like I have no control over where the character goes. Once I get him moving forward I can’t stop him. Or I have to face him but then can’t see where I’m going.

It seems like at time it just goes where he wants and always get stuck in corner.

I’ll mess around again today. See if. Can make progress.

Kind of sounds like you have another input device with a key held down or you have a deadzone problem. Definitely not normal behavior.

Ah. Good call. I’ll look into that. I do have other controllers hooked up. I think it may be the t16000 joystick. I’ve seen issues with the sliders affect other things.

UPDATE: That was exactly it. Sliders on the T16000 were not centered.
I was successful in first mission finally.
