Very Unrealistic game: No one would ever buy UGLY Androids in real life!!!

This game's premise is inherently unbelievable, because most of the Androids they are selling are extremely ugly, yet these androids are supposedly selling for several thousands of US dollars each.

Realistically, if anyone was going to buy an android, then they would buy a beautiful one, not ugly ones! The ugly ones would never sell, and hence designers would never even make ugly androids in the first place, because they would know that ugly ones would be unsellable before they even started to make one.

The film Bladerunner 2049 does a great job of representing this concept, such as by how the main character's hologram girlfriend looks perfect, and also how the billboard for other hologram girlfriends is represented as a perfect-looking woman.

And she is even marketed with the perfect slogan too in that film, which is "everything you want."

In contrast, this game is the complete opposite of that realistic premise: DBH's universe features very ugly androids that no one would want, but we the player are apparently "supposed to" believe would be wanted anyway.

Seems clear to me that the devs deliberately made this game unrealistic in order to push their SJW agenda, one of the aspects of which is to pretend that ugly people are desirable, even though in reality, they aren't.

IMO the whole theme about androids "feeling disgusting" about sex would have made so much more sense if there had been cases of non-sexual android models being abused by deviants (human deviants that is). Would have made way more sense for the androids to "feel abused" since they technically weren't designed or built for that. Total missed opportunity there.

There's an article at the beginning of the game called "secrets of androids". It was about how they originally designed android to look perfect but everybody thought i was creepy.

but i know what you mean by "beautiful", you mean like made with a lot of perfection, just like a figure would be, with potentially enhanced physique like breasts/butt for girls or highly muscular (note that they did but a lot of muscles with android workers, but no exagerrated breasts or butt size for girls in clubs)
as for children androids it make zero sense aswell in human logic: who would want an artificially crying thing with artificial needs?

This thread is deranged and I can't believe some people are agreeing with the OP, all the points the guy made are absolutely mad. You completely missed the point of the game if the only thing you worry about is "hot robots", and I don't even understand that point because they are designed off of "objectively attractive" people anyway. The androids made in this game are supposed to seamlessly integrate into human society, so having an android without imperfection would be goofy as hell. Dude just wants a future of hot blonde bimbo sex robots parading the streets. This take was hot garbage.

You can downgrade this assessment from "some people" to one person. If you go back and look closely, only one person actually agreed with the OP.

For my part, the whole thing was acceptable except for the assumption in the "happy ending" that things would work out so cleanly. Given it has been 157 years since Slavery was abolished in the US via the 13th Amendment, and we still have grotesque levels of discrimination and hate crimes because of someone's race or sexuality is protected under a freedom of religion defense... I have a hard time believing that, in the real world, it would take 6-7 days to fully transition from "androids are property" to "let's have a meaningful discussion about android equality." But, I'm not going to demand realism in my fiction because I'm not a fkn moron.

If you don't like the content, don't play. For my part, I was moved (emotionally) by several scenes involving the exploration of humanity, empathy and compassion and what it means to be human.

With regards to response to the OP, I'm going with the majority. The reason is because SJW politics has been ruining most games for the past two decades or so, and the stuff I described in the OP is another in the countless examples of that.

Games were much better in the 80's and 90's and early 2000's when they were 100% free from and completely devoid of SJW politics.
