PSA: Detroit: Become Human's fullscreen doesnt like multiple monitors. Borderless does
I'll admit flat out that I'm mostly throwing this in just incase someone else with simmilar issues happens to stumble across it, as it was bothering me quite alot when troubleshooting and I didnt seem to find any indications that others have suffered simmilar issues. It's also why I refunded the game twice before I figured out the problem pretty much through a random guess.

So for a super long time, despite me meeting and even surpassing some of the minimum requirements (yes I'm too poor to be running recommended specs :P So it's not impossible there's some hardware issues aswell but still), every time I would boot the game, it would freeze effectively entirely, but the sound would still keep playing, even if I was also running on absolute lowest graphical settings

If I however alt-tabbed out and then back in, the game would for the briefest moment unfreeze (think on the level of if I clicked on a different menu option while frozen, it would change to that option) and then lock back up.

As it turns out, I dont think Detroit: Become Human can properly account for multiple monitors if you're running the game in Fullscreen, which is also where it boots initially without any settings tweaks

Everything however immediately went away upon setting the game into windowed mode, and then Borderless, instead of Fullscreen (the issue still persists if I move back to Fullscreen specificly).

If you happen to have something like Nvidia's GeForce Experience, so you can change the display mode outside of the game itself, I recommend you do it there, otherwise you can force the game into Windowed mode via Alt + Enter on PC. Upon which the freezing should clear, if you're having the same problem I did.
