Switch pro controller question

Hello!
I use switch pro controller to play, but I click right joystick game can't interact with objects.
Can I solve this question?
Play other game right joystick can use.

OH! I mean is I can use controller to play other game on steam, but when I use controller play DETROIT except right stick click no reaction other button can use.
Example, first part I can walk forward but I can't pick up fish.

I believe all I did was press a button on the keyboard first, which fixed the issue for me.
