The game is lagging overlay?
Okay so the game runs perfectly fine, 60 fps. But when i enter overlay then the whole overlay has like 10 or less fps.

As soon as i get into the steam overlay it just starts lagging like hell. I cant type properly as well, nor take pictures in game because when i press F12 it just doesnt do anything. Also why does the game run so poorly? I downloaded the game when it was cracked and i was able to play it on ultra with stable 60 fps and now i have to play it on high and i still have huge fps drops pretty often. Its like this newest version, very well updated is way worse somehow.. for some reason.. And yes i do have all drivers updated, tho im not at the newest windows 10 version because the update 20h2 is troubeling, but again when not up to date windows could cause such a thing? Never to my knowledge so that is not the problem.

I having same lags in steam overlay, i think it's a bug.
For some people, game may have problems with new drivers.
For people with 6 or mores cores, recommended lock framerate to 30 Fps.
But for people with 4 core cpu's this method does not help much, the only way is to use old graphics drivers.

And yes, i do have 6 cores. AMD Ryzen 3600
EDIT: I did try switching to 30 fps but nothing seems to fix all of it. Not even that laggy overlay.

There are several types of overlays in the computer world. One type is a video overlay, which is a technique to display video on a computer monitor without having to go through the computer processor. This type of overlay is commonly used by TV tuner cards and early 3D graphics cards.

Another type of overlay is a hardware overlay, which is also a type of video overlay. These overlays use dedicated memory in the video card to render an image to a computer monitor. This process helps to improve the video quality for a computer game, a DVD or a TV tuner card. Most video cards since 1998 support hardware overlay.

A third type of overlay is an overlay network, which is a computer network on top of another network. This type of overlay is used with private networks to improve routing. It is also used on the Internet for routing data to a destination that are not specified by an IP address. Normally, this type of routing is not possible without an overlay network.
