How do you interact with <LB> interactive stuff?

Some things say <LB> instead of having a movement diagram. If I switch the mouse and keyboard, it changed to Q, and pressing Q makes the interaction work. But on Gamepad mode, it says <LB>, and none of the button on my Xbox 360 controller activate it. I've tried pushing down on the sticks.

Figured it out, it just doesn't always activate, maybe that button is dying

It eventually started working every time, there must've been dust or something under the button
