Left mouse button and controller not working

For some reason the game will now allow left mouse clicks. I then tried to get my controller working and the game will not detect it. All other functions of the mouse are fine and work in other games its only this game that its not working. Of all my years gaming I have never seen this before. Thankfully I only tried the demo. Its not playable if your cannot left click the mouse so thats that.
Game looks and sounds great though.
Looks like another poor export to PC.

Same; can't interact with anything, glad I only downloaded the demo. Can't leave the first room.

One thing that happened to me was the left thumbstick wasn't registering at all. What solved it for me was to restart my computer and not use steam big picture mode. I guess the controller configuration was causing some issues.

Im having the same problems as OP, i tried what you said and it still wont work. Im also trying the demo if that means anything. Id like to give the game a try but i cant get the controls to work.

I have to disconnect my joy sticks (Virpil flight stick and throttle) to be able to use it.

I had to disconnect my hotas and then the left button and the interaction system worked again
