What's with the controls?

At the very start of the game, I walk into the apartment and there is a fish on the floor. A prompt comes up giving me the option to kneel, but I have no idea what that symbol is. (Half circle and a down arrow) How does this translate to mouse and keyboard controls?

you have to draw same symbol with your mause

Thanks. Me too. I thought I was having an actual mouse problem. It showed on-screen to click the Left Hand button. I would never have thought to do draw a symbol.... not sure why they wouldn't explain such a fundamentally different control????? They explain WASD to you, then expect you to deduce that
