Stuck on Connor getting in the boat [QTE problem]

It's after the nightclub scene, where the android [may/not] get killed...

You have to hold Q to pick up the oars, but when thats done you instantly switch to a scene where you press S and E or something and you insta fail this because you have to be pressing the [wrong button] Q to get to the next step.

This is why i hate QTE, does anyone have a mod or save just past this? I cant believe they shipped the game with something this gamebreaking left inside it. It's actually impossible to do this sequence.

I am having the same problem... it changes so... fast from Q and E to what ever... that 1) you cannot really tell what the control is.. 2) you cannot do the action and 3) your stuck at that point in the game..... THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE FIXED

I hate that. Have you tried switching the game's difficulty to Story instead of Experienced?

The QTEs are simplified in the Casual mode. You maybe could at least get by that section, or leave it on Casual. It does lock out a few sequences in some of the Chapters though. Nothing major, but just note that it does limit some of your choices.

You could switch it to Casual, then right back again, if you wanted to.

No problem. I was hoping it would work. I know the first time I played straight through the game, some of the QTEs were almost undoable on Experienced. No telling how many I failed on that run. It wasn't until playing through some of the chapters to unlock other branches, that I switched to the Easy mode to get through them quicker, and I noticed they were much simpler then.

Since then I've switched back to Experienced just for something "extra" to do, but I can understand the frustration level.

I got stuck 5 more times after this, and now I am at the rocket launcher... and cannot play again... I have done everything i can think of... with no luck. I really do like this game... but the controls need some serous work.
