Please explain the controls

For the love of all gods, please explain the controls, i'm less than 3 minutes in to the start and already frustrated.
The game is not explaining anything.

me too!! I tried my xbox control... Doesnt work... im using keyboard and is very hard to control...

WASD to move in the direction you want relative to the camera. If you need to interact with things, you push left click and move the mouse in the direction indicated. Its not that hard, the game tells you exactly what to do.

@OP: You do know there's an OPTIONS menu you can go to from the Main Menu, or the Pause Menu, right? You can see and adjust the control scheme there... seriously... some people...

Though the game "tells you exactly what to do" it does so using a unique and unfamiliar icon.

How is someone who doesn't play console games to know that what looks like a power button icon means left click and trace the lines?

Once you figure that out the game is nothing but one long QTE but, it is an interesting story.

I myself found the Chloe on the game menu to be the best part of the game.

Controls on PC with keyboard and mouse is very clunky. to interact press and hold left click and move the mouse in the direction indicated.

I'm using my xbox controller. It was the lesser of two evils. This games controls are pretty odd, to be overly fair, and it's hard for me to understand how and why they decided to utilize the camera views and angles they did. That said, you do get used to it, and as long as your not switching between this and other games, you can actually get rather good at changing views and mashing the correct buttons on the fly. When I review this game, which will probably be after my second playthrough, the wonky as hell controls and camera angles will be at the top of my complaint list.
