GTX 970
Ryzen 5 2600
16GB DDR4
Installed on an SSD
usually ran fine with 40-60 fps in early chapters
but as soon as i started Karas chapter and was in Todds kitchen washing dishes, frames went down to 10-20. got so bad that i lowered all settings to the minimum, since then it ran fine at 60 solid fps.
for me, even though i'm not used to play on low settings and even got RDR2 to work on high-ultra settings with around 50 fps (sometimes drops to 20-25 in certain areas and wheather conditions) and i can't get DBH to run on high settings, i have to say, that the game (besides some real ugly textures and meshes) still looks fine on min settings, at least for me.
If somebody else, with a similar system has got these framerate problems and found a fix, or at least a good graphics/framerate-mix solution, it would be much appreciated if you could help me out :)
On minimum i expect it to run atleast at 30 fps.
Not 7 Fps like it does with i7-2600 and gtx780 (which is their minimum spec)
Or 15 fps like it does with i7-2600 and gtx 980ti
not to mention their constant crashing "vk_error_device_lost" on a fresh win 10 install and latest drivers
You can try the demo before buying. Also, the game works for a lot of people. Sucks for those that can't play it but you are exagerating.
My thoughts are that it just depends what your computer can handle as some people are not having any problems with the game.
i5 3470
2x4gb DDR3
Currently at medium settings + texture filter and depth of field on Ultra, FPS is 40 but after some time the game starts to slow down too much and the way to fix it is close/open again, this is probably the only game that runs bad on my rig...
Funny part is after I cleaned it up he said minecraft gets over 50 more fps now.
Best comment of the night.
I did some prime95 testing to check cpu and memory, and everything was perfectly fine. Also followed a hint about checking the swap file, without any change. All drivers are up to date. I have no crashing issues with any other game.

32GB DDR4

Windows 10 has been great for me.
