But enough about this, time to focus on the topic at hand. For me (cant really tell how the steam version goes since I don't own it) but for me the EGS version wasn't that bad I think thoughout all the hours that I've played it (not sure if EGS counts playtime) and even beating it I think I probably only experienced a few crashes and so it wasn't that bad of a port. I was playing at on ultra at 1080p and was getting a good 60FPS, a few areas it was a few drops to 55ish.
Specs:
i5 8600k
Nvidia GTX 2070
16GB DDR4 Ram
I do not have previous console experience with this game. I do not own any consoles and have only seen playthroughs on YouTube before playing it myself. So I cannot compare PC and console.
Update the driver, and delete those files from shadercache. After this, the shader compilation process will be ok.
I had it on my PS4, the controls are odd because it was initially designed to include the touch pad and utilize the PS4's controller. It's slightly different but pretty faithful to the PS4.
You all list the parts you spent the most money on instead of the single most important part in a PC. The one that controls how fast all those expensive parts you brag about can communicate with each other.
It's no wonder the majority complain how games are "not optimized" while a minority are always saying "it runs beautiful on my 5 year old pc" ;)
i5 9400
32gb Ram
now on chapter 30 and running on highest settings with 60fps only crashed once at chapter 24
Not really,
gaming laptops will throttle their speed significantly once they start to get hotter
They can drop the PCI GEN 3 X16 link all the way to PCI GEN 2 speeds, to cut down power draw to reduce heat, and they will downclock heavily, both the GPU & CPU
hey, im running this game on a
5820K (overclocked to 4.2GHZ, CACHE 4.2GHZ, STRAP 125MHZ, BCLK 125MHZ)
32GB QUAD CHANNEL RAM
RADEON R9 FURY X
750W PSU
3 SSD DRIVES
