Epilepsy inducing glitch?

Whenever I start up my game, everything looks just fine. However, after a short period of time (5-10 min), all the colors turn black and white and start flashing. You can still roughly tell what's going on, but it's really impossible to play that way. Sounds & ♥♥♥♥ still work by the way and the game runs smoothly on my PC otherwise.

Disabling vsync fixed this problem for me

I had the same thing. The problem was in VRAM. I have 1060 3gb. And on high textures and shadows, i had these artifacts. I just set textures and shadows on medium (All other settings max). And after that all fixed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdThFjTPJII

Oh wow, now that was helpful! Thanks a lot! Already thought my PC really couldn't handle the game (1050, 8 GB...)

I just got the game and this has been happening to me too. I've been trying to find ways to help but nothing seems to be working. I have a NVIDIA 1030, and I tried setting everything on low, and even did the medium and rest on high, but nothing works. I mean I can definitely play the game of course, but it's starting to get annoying on having to close out and go back in the game after the glitch happens.
