deleting the SteamOverlayVulkanLayer64.json file will also work, but, you have to do that every time as well.
It's odd that there's no permanent fix. I still don't get why I've never needed to do anything and have had the game working perfectly from day one. What is it that's worked for me!?
And what if I don't have any of that installed?
Run the setup, click "Enable/Disable Reshade in Vulkan Globally", then untick the box (if it's ticked), or tick the box and untick again just in case. The game should be running fine.
If you don't already have the game and don't have any of them installed then it may work for you. It did for me and I don't have anything like that. If you really want the game then maybe take a chance.
I had the same problem. I fixed it with this article -> https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-300. Just do what is written there and you should be safe and sound.
