Adding a setting that would only benefit some users is not exclusionary. By that logic Developers might as well not bother adding Ultrawide support? Ray Tracing?
I see no reason why this game doesn't have HDR yet tbh, I would love to see it added soon.
Not everyone has a 4k or HDR TV either! What is this self contradicting argument. Why are you so keen to defend the exclusion of a feature?

The idea that PC gamers don't need it or wouldn't benefit from it is beyond absurd, to be honest. All new games need to support it, regardless of their platform, and as gamers we should be pushing Developers to implement it.
I won't continue this discussion any further - I have no interest in arguing with people stuck in the past.
What a dumbo comment. HDR 1000 PC gaming monitors are right there for the high players. There is no excuse to not have HDR implanted and you defend it like a console boy.
Edit: Add to the fact that there are no monitors which have a decent amount of zones in them for HDR, there basically is no good HDR monitor for PCs.
Oh I believe I have seen those monitors. I should have been more clear! The point I was making is its way too expensive for monitors, for me anyway, to justify. Checking on Reddit, it seems to be a common theme: too hard to justify even if you are rich. For the price they ask you'd expect it to be OLED for the monitor you quoted. But OLED monitors do not exist.
My ideal 4k HDR monitor would be:
29"/30" 1440p 144hz HDR1000 GSync OLED :) / I might consider 4K
But that does not exist.
You can use a HDR TV but for PCs, the screen size I ideally would prefer as a max would be 29/30" for desktop use. 4K HDR TVs seem to start above 32"? (Not seen good 30" ones). Way too big, it will be in your face. Even if thats ok, are there any TVs that have a greater than 60hz refresh rate? Not 100% sure.
But YMMV if you can work with a HDR TV instead!
