I wish there was an auto-lock on threads older than 7 days.
Mods? Anyone?
I had the same first impression during the first mission, was frustrated by the camera, but wow I'm glad I stuck with it, since it's an amazing game. So, try right mouse click for easy camera management.
lol 7 day old necro ><
"If" an action can be taken it takes a while to get it to work correctly. I came here looking if anyone had solutions and I find only the same issue, or people being condescending to those dealing with the issue.
Janky at best. But, I am willing to bet it is masterable. Especially for you 16-23yo's.
What annoys me fffffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr more than this is those $!*(#& quick Time Events. How many buttons on a controller do they use? Five? On a keyboard, seventy-five? Fighting is nearly impossible. I cannot count the number of times I have lost battles with whomever because of the QTEs. Garbage way to do a game, if only because 1996 called and wants their QTEs back ... but more than even this ...
"Do this mission, Bob. Remember to disable the alarm. Oh, but disabling the alarm won't appear as an objective. Nor will we remind you to do it before you climb into the vehicle. We won't give you ANY HINTS as to where you are supposed to disable the alarm. I mean, there'll be no indicator anywhere in the game arena for where the alarm is, or a bright yellow marker. NOR will we PERMIT you to exit the vehicle because you remember it's still not done and apparently the game isn't going to remind you, mid-drive, like you expected ... oh well, you failed that mission because we do dumb game design. Here's a guilt trip about all the androids you failed to liberate. Guilt-guilt-guilt. Oh no, we won't shut-up about how BADLY you've failed "the movement". Here's some more guilting! Are you feeling bad now? Good! So you should be! What a wicked and evil person you must be!" And this is but ONE of several instances.
This game is nothing short of well-written emotional propaganda for an important issue rooted in a ridiculous premise.
There are many reasons for pulling this game from your wishlist; I am inclined to think the controls, though shirty, are but one of the smaller ones.
HA, if people failed the "Capitol Park" mission they should find a new hobby cause that's just embarrassing. Everyone I've watched never even failed that part.
